Casey Patrizio, PhD

My research is broadly focussed on understanding the role of the ocean in the climate system, particularly its variability. I provide physical insights with simple theoretical models, more complex global climate simulations, and observations. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (IMAU) in Utrecht, Netherlands, and before that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change (CMCC) in Bologna, Italy.
